Stones Hurled At Errabelli's House
With TDP's Errabelli Dayakar Rao forging ahead with the conduction of the Telangana Ranabheri, TRS members & Kakatiya University students hurled stones at his house.
With Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Forum chairman Errabelli Dayakar Rao forging ahead with the conduction of the Telangana Ranabheri in Karimnagar, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) members and Kakatiya University (KU) students hurled stones at his house.
Errabelli's wife and a few TDP office employees were reportedly present in the house at the time of the attack.
A student of the KU stated that they had attacked the house of the Forum's chief because he was rallying for the cause of Telangana with the face of TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu gracing the banners. The student explained that they objected to the use of Naidu's photograph because Errabelli had allegedly acted as if he was resigning for the cause of Telangana and had thus cheated the people of the region.
The police stopped the attack on Errabelli's house, and reportedly arrested upto 20 students at the site.
Errabelli, who was pre-occupied in Karimnagar with the proceedings at the Telangana Ranabheri, upon learning of the attack on his house stated that the TRS was to blame for the incident.
He appealed to the public to notice that the TRS was threatening all those who came forward to fight for the separate statehood. He revealed that though he expected the TRS to cause trouble at the Ranabheri itself, he did not forsee that the party would harm his family.
