TRS Condemns Bandi Sanjay's Remarks On Kshudra Pujas By KCR
The TRS said that the BJP didn't have any issues to fight on for the Munugodu by-election, and so was making cheap remarks to divert the attention of the people.
Condemning BJP State unit president Bandi Sanjay Kumar's remarks that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao performed kshudra pujas (occult practices) in his farmhouse on the advice of a tantric, Finance Minister T Harish Rao said that the BJP leader didn't have any issues to fight on for the Munugodu by-election, and so was making cheap remarks to divert the attention of the people.
Speaking at a press conference, Rao along with Government Whip M S Prabhakar Rao, MLC V Gangadhar and MLA Muta Gopal said that the TRS had never indulged in such cheap allegations, and had come to power twice only by winning the trust of the people.
"It is known fact that it is the BJP leaders that believe in kshudra pujas, black magic, and carrying lemons and chillis. The Benares University in Uttar Pradesh offers a course in ghost medicine - Bandi Sanjay should join the course to gain expertise in the subject," Rao remarked.
Alleging that the BJP was trying to win the Munugodu by-election by spending huge amounts of money, Rao said that the TRS had information that the BJP leaders had booked 200 Brezza cars and 2,000 motorcycles from an agency to lure the local cadre in the Munugodu Assembly segment.
"The Munugodu by-election has been forcibly thrust upon the people by the BJP. The fight is between the self-respect of the Munugodu people and the selfishness of Rajagopal Reddy. And the people have already decided to teach a fitting lesson to Rajagopal despite the saffron party trying to lure them with money and other cheap tactics," Rao claimed.
