Trade Of Ganja Reaches All New Highs
Gallis, homes, parks, or the panwawallah down the road, a pothead out scouting can get his fix just about anywhere.

The use and selling of cannabis is on a rise in Hyderabad, with the ubiquitous weed being sold in every other lane, and sometimes even right under the nose of the very law that has made its use illegal.
Gallis, homes, parks, or the panwawallah down the road - a pothead out scouting can get his fix just about anywhere. Lumbini Park, Sachivalayam, Secretariat - these are just a few of the areas in town where ganja trade is hectic, at least to someone who's already tripping. Some of these traders are willing to give you the ganja and some cash, all in return for a "quarter".
As far as those on the prowl to "score" are considered, they have their brokers and contacts who they deal with over the phone. Trade starts with the "crack" of dawn at Lumbini Park and Necklace Road, with thousands of people dropping by for a high, in a truly democratic manner, i.e. regardless of age, sex, vocation etc.
And why not? Among those who know where to look, it is pretty much an open secret that fruit-juice vendors, ice-cream carts, cigarrette stalls etc. are the places to hit for a hit, with the weed being sold publicly in match-boxes.
