Two Ganja Sellers Arrested, 1.7 Kg Ganja Seized

Sleuths of the Commissioner's Task Force, West Zone team, apprehended a Syed Fayaz and a Saroj Kumar Das on 29th October, and seized 1.7 kg of ganja worth Rs 30,000 from them.

The police said that Das had come to Hyderabad five years ago and had been working as a manager at Ohri's Bar in Hi-tech City while residing in Siddiq Nagar. Fayaz, a native of Hyderabad, was procuring ganja from a Pappu of Odisha upon Das's suggestion at low prices, and selling it to customers at higher prices at Site-I, opposite Vijaya theatre, Borabanda, Hyderabad.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Nikta Pant, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force; and Md Khaleel Pasha, Inspector of the West Zone Task Force Team; with the assistance of SI Srinivas Das and the staff of the West Zone team, Commissioner's Task Force, Hyderabad.
