4 Drug Dealers Held With 20 Kg Cannabis In City
The Telangana Police's Special Operations Team of Malkajgiri Zone, Cyberabad East, nabbed four drug peddlers and seized 20 kg of contraband cannabis.

The Telangana Police's Special Operations Team (SOT) of Malkajgiri Zone, Cyberabad East, today nabbed four drug peddlers and seized 20 kg of contraband Cannabis.
The accused were identified as K Sridhar, 28, a drug supplier residing in Kothapally village of East Godavari; Radinka Laman, 32, resident of Kandarala village in East Godavari; Dara Manikant, 28, a manual labourer from the same place; and Rathod Ravi, 26, an auto driver and resident of Minelli village in Medak.
The SOT said that Sridhar would procure marijuana from Annavaram and Paderu areas, and transport it to Hyderabad via private buses with the help of Laxman and Manikanth. There, Ravi would purchase the drug at Rs. 12,000 per kg, and sell it openly in Patancheru at Rs. 500 per sachet. This had been happening for over a year.
Through an anonymous tip-off, the SOT nabbed the accused at the Outer Ring Road crossroads at Ghatkesar, Cyberabad East, and seized two bags containing Rs. 4 lakh worth of contraband cannabis, and handed it over to the Ghatkesar PS.
The arrests were made under the direct supervision of Mahesh M Bhagawat, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad East.
