An initial investment of Rs 102 crore has been made into the unit.
Following the inauguration, appointment letters were distributed to women who secured positions at the company.
The facility currently employs 1,600 women, and plans have been made to create an additional 2,000 jobs over the next three years.
The factory produces over 70 lakh garments annually, and exports products worth Rs 300 crore to international markets, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
Speaking at the event, IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu said that the State government was working diligently toward the comprehensive development of Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
"The Congress has consistently supported weavers, and remains committed to their welfare. The previous administrations failed to meet the weavers' needs, offering nothing more than empty promises. About a year and a half ago, the leadership of this industry reached out to us. Since then, we have addressed their challenges and promoted the sector's growth," Babu said.
The minister also spoke about the Vemulawada temple, and said, "The earlier governments made no meaningful progress in developing the temple. In contrast, the current Congress administration is sincerely committed to its advancement, and has allocated dedicated financial resources for its development."
