TNGOA Holds Protest Program Against Bandi Sanjay Comments
The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers' Association held a protest rally condemning the comments of the State BJP president that it was supporting the TRS instead of fighting for the NGOs.
Members of the Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers' Association (TNGOA) today held a protest rally condemning the comments of State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar that the association was supporting the government instead of fighting for the NGOs.
Hundreds of employees from different units of the association took part in the rally.
The rally was organised following a call by the state president of the association M Rajender and secretary R Pratap.
Speaking on the occasion, the Hyderabad district president of the association Dr Mujeeb asked Bandi to find out about the history of the association. He said that the association was the oldest employees' association of the country, and that it had always worked hard to solve the problems of the employees of the state government for the last 76 years.
He told Bandi that senior BJP leaders including former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, G Kishan Reddy, Dr K Laxman and Bandaru Dattatreya had worked with their association during the Telangana statehood struggle.
He also asked Bandi Sanjay to raise the issue of the CPS, which he said had been pending with the union government for the last eight years.
Dr Mujeeb also asked Sanjay not to use abusive and foul language against the employees of the State government in future, and warned him of serious consequences if he repeated that.
