Taking a strong exception to the comments made by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao that there was a need to change the Constitution of the country, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) today warned the former of a serious protest if he made the same comments again.
Speaking to media persons today, TJS founder-president Prof M Kodandaram asked the Chief Minister what kind of constitution he was planning to bring into the country after scrapping the existing one.
He also asked what the CM, who had "a feudal mindset", would know about the Indian constitution, and mocked the latter saying that he was demanding a change in the Constitution to include his feudal mindset in it.
He said that the TJS would launch an intense fight against the state government on the issue, and that the party would hold its plenary soon and adopt a resolution to fight against the "undemocratic" rule of KCR.
Targeting the union government on its annual budget, the TJS president said that the budget appeared intended to increase the inequalities in the country.
