The Telangana Jana Samithi would contest the 2019 elections on its own, party president M Kondandaram announced today.
The party would contest all the 119 Assembly seats in the state, he said, adding that there would be no hung Assembly after the elections and that his party would get a majority.
Speaking to the media at the party office today, Kodandaram said that the party had received applications from 1,000+ people to contest the local elections on its symbol and ticket, and that a meeting on May 27 would decide on interacting with the applicants.
