The TJS chief said he was insulted and belittled many times in the alliance of opposition parties that was formed for the upcoming Telangana elections.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) chief M Kodandaram today expressed his anguish stating that he was insulted and belittled many times in the name of surveys by the parties in the Mahakootami (the alliance formed by the Congress, the TDP, the TJS and the CPI against the TRS).
Kodandaram, however, added that the TJS would continue in the Mahakootami as it would be difficult for any party to win the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections against the TRS alone.
He said that he had also accepted the responsibility of framing the common minimum programme for the Mahakootami in the interests of the state.
He also claimed that not contesting the election was for his own good, and that he would campaign relentlessly for the victory of the Mahakootami.
The TJS boss also quipped that TRS president and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister KCR had correctly said that he (KCR) would take rest if the TRS was defeated in the elections.
