Huzurnagar By-Election: Congress Seeks Kodandaram, CPI Suppo
TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy personally met TJS President M Kodandaram and CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy to seek support for the upcoming by-election.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Sunday sought the support of Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) President M Kodandaram and CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy for the upcoming by-election for the Huzurnagar Assembly seat.
He called on the two leaders personally and urged them to support the Congress in the election.
Uttam Kumar Reddy went to the residence of Kodandaram in Tarnaka alone and met him. The meeting between Reddy and Kodandaram went on for more than an hour. The two leaders are said to have discussed the political situation in the State. Kodandaram said that his party would decide on the issue in the next two days.
In his meeting with Chada Venkat Reddy held at the CPI office in Himayathnagar, Uttam Kumar Reddy urged the CPI leader, too, to extend support to the Congress candidate. Venkat Reddy told the TPCC chief that his party would take a decision on the issue after discussing the issue.
