3 Rebel Telangana TDP MLAs Get Speaker's Notice
Teegala Krishna Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Challa Dharma Reddy got the notices after the TDP sought their disqualification for defecting to the TRS.
Three rebel MLAs of the Telugu Desam Party have been served notices by the Telangana Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary.
The MLAs - Teegala Krishna Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Challa Dharma Reddy - were served notices following a petition submitted by the Telugu Desam Legislature Party seeking their disqualification for defecting to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, under the provisions of the Anti-Defection Law.
On December 4, the Speaker had served notices to two rebel MLAs of the Congress party, S Redya Naik and K Yadaiah, who defected to the ruling TRS.
Earlier, three other rebel MLAs - Vithal Reddy and Kanakaiah of the Congress and Madan Lal of the YSRCP - were also served notices under the Anti-Defection Law. (INN)
