Three Held For Robbing Bus In Hyderabad
The accused had allegedly extorted Rs 9,496 from an RTC bus they had intercepted at Law College, Basheerbagh, in the early hours of December 28.

Cops of the Abid Road Police Station apprehended three persons, who had allegedly assaulted an RTC bus driver and conductor at Law College, Basheerbagh, and extorted an amount of Rs 9,496 from them in the early hours of December 28.
Police said the trio, who used a Hyundai Verna for the robbery, stopped the bus on December 28 at 5:15 am and terrorized its crew and snatched Rs 9,496 from the conductor that had been collected towards the bus fare. They also inflicted blows on the driver who tried to intervene.
The cops were able to identify the accused with the help of footage from more than 200 CCTV cameras from the Abid Road police station to the Jubilee Hills police station, and also within the Cyberabad limits, and arrested them on Tuesday evening at King Kothi. They also recovered the stolen cash and seized the car, registration number AP 26P 9359, which was used in the commission of the offence.
The accused have been identified as Mohd Sarfarazuddin Khan alias Doctor, 32, a dealer of second-hand bikes in Ramkote and resident at Niyath Khana, Purdah Gate, King Kothi; Mohd Muqtadar alias Muttu, a carpenter resident at Mallepally; and Shabbar Hussain, 23, of Sardhar Bagh, Langar House, Mehdipatnam Ring Road.
