Jubilee Hills Police Crack Rs 1.3 Cr Jewel Heist
A domestic worker facilitated entry of two men, who intoxicated the watchmen and the cook, and decamped with the jewellery, the police said.

The Jubilee Hills police, in coordination with the City Task Force, two arrested two persons involved in a pre-planned, high-value robbery at a residence in Nandagiri Hills.
The police recovered stolen gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs 1.3 crore.
According to the police, the theft took place on February 5, 2026, and was allegedly orchestrated by a Jiban Chand, who is still absconding. Investigators revealed that a domestic worker employed at the house facilitated the entry of two men, Bhupender Shahi alias Bhuvan (22) and Krishna Chand (23), who administered intoxicating substances to the watchmen and the cook before decamping with the gold and diamond jewellery.
The house owner and family members were away at the time of the incident.
Acting swiftly, the police tracked the two suspects and intercepted them at the Indo-Nepal border. The stolen property was recovered during the operation.
Both the accused confessed to their involvement and were remanded to judicial custody.
The police said that efforts were underway to arrest the absconding suspects and recover additional stolen items.
