Telangana Will Lead Nation In Education: TRS
Deputy Chief Minister for Education Kadiam Srihari today said that Telangana would soon lead the nation as an education hub.

Deputy Chief Minister for Education Kadiam Srihari today said that the services rendered by contract lecturers would be regularized besides improving educational standards in schools and colleges to ensure that Telangana students excelled at an all-India level.
Speaking at a foundation ceremony for a government junior college, attended by ministers P Mahender Reddy, Thummala Nageswara Rao, MP Malla Reddy, MLA M Krishna Rao and others, Srihari said, "Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao wants our students to get the best quality education so that Telangana could outshine other States in its future endeavours. As a first step, the government will keep its promise of regularizing the services of contract lecturers. In order to strengthen the education system, Rs. 81 crores will be spent for developing 37 degree colleges in the State."
Every college in the State would get a biometric system and CCTV cameras for security, he added.
Saying that the KG-to-PG scheme would take off soon, Srihari said that the TRS government sanctioned 254 institutions in the State.
Backward Class "Gurukul" schools would be launched in every district in Telangana by 2017-18, and with this the total number of Gurukuls would rise to 464, he said.
