Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the era of family rule in both Telangana and West Bengal would end soon, and that the States would witness new governments.
Speaking at the media point of the BJP's National Executive Committee meetings on Sunday, Sarma said that the party had discussed the steps necessary to end dynastic and family rule politics in the country, and that Telangana would certainly have a new government soon.
It's unusual for the CM of a State to openly criticise the CM of another State, especially when he is in that other State, but all niceties have been dispensed with by both the TRS and the BJP now. Two union ministers Kishan Reddy and Piyush Goyal also trenchantly criticised KCR today, elsewhere.
It will all, of course, most likely be topped by the PM himself when he addresses a public meeting at the Parade Grounds later today.
