A TRS worker pulled the mike from the hands of Asom CM Himanta Biswa Sarma when the latter was addressing a public gathering at the MJ Market in Hyderabad.
A TRS worker from the city pulled the mike away from the hands of Asom Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma when the latter was addressing a public gathering at the MJ Market in Hyderabad.
Nandu Bilal took the step after hearing the criticism of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao by the Asom CM.
He objected to the criticism and swung towards the Asom CM and pulled away the mike.
He also entered into an argument with the Asom CM for criticising KCR.
Shocked at the sudden incident, the members of the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) took Bilal away from Sarma, leading to a series of arguments between the TRS and the BJP activists.
Sarma continued his speech after the incident and left the place.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav condemned the incident and came down heavily on the Asom CM and the BJP leaders.
He asked the BJP leaders if they would not allow the State to be peaceful.
He alleged that the Asom CM had come to Hyderabad only to provoke the people of the State.
He said that he was strongly condemning the language used by the Asom CM, and claimed that Bilal had pulled the mike from the hands of the Asom CM as the latter had used vulgar and insulting language against KCR.
Talasani said that it was the State government that had made the arrangements at the MJ Market platform used by the Asom CM to make his "provocative" speech.
The minister added that the TRS did not target the BJP leaders although the latter had been trying to politicise the arrangements being made for the Ganesh idol immersion program.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali too condemned the comments of the Asom CM against KCR.
He asked Sarma how he could make such comments despite holding a responsible position, and said that the CM of a State could not make such provocative statements.
