TDP Asks KCR To Give Up New Secretariat Plan

The party said that the government should instead use the money to construct more double bedroom houses for poor people in the city.
Hyderabad | 7th September 2017
The Telangana TDP today demanded that the TRS government shelve the plan to construct a new Secretariat building at Bison Polo grounds in Secunderabad.

In an open letter to chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the party's working president A Revanth Reddy said the government should instead use the money to construct more double bedroom houses for poor people in the city.

Accusing KCR of not keeping his promises of providing housing facility for poor people in the state, Reddy said that the government should commence construction of double bedroom housing in all mandals in the state.

The government should also give its other contract works only to those contractors who come forward to take up construction of double bedroom houses, he said in his letter.
