Telangana SSC Results: Girls Outshine Boys
The girls outshone the boys as usual in the SSC 2017 examinations with an 85.37% pass percentage, with only 82.95% of the latter passing.

The girls outshone the boys as usual in the SSC 2017 examinations with an 85.37% pass percentage, with only 82.95% of the latter passing. The total pass percentage was 84.15.
Newly formed Jagityal district had the highest pass percentage at 97.35, Karimnagar was second with 93.71, Janagam was third with 93.56, and Wanaparty district ranked last with 64.81.
The results were announced by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, who also holds the education portfolio, at a press conference at Secretariat.
Srihari said that the Backward Class Welfare Schools achieved 94% pass percentage this time. He also said that 28 schools had 0% students passing, of which 20 were private schools, one was a government school, five were aided schools and two were Zilla Parishad schools.
Srihari said that 2,005 schools achieved 100% results.
5,33,701 students appeared for the SSC examinations held from March 14 to 30, including 5,07,938 regular students and 25,763 private students.
The supplementary examinations are scheduled from June 5 to 19, from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. The last date for the payment of the examination fee is May 18.
