SSC Exams Likely To Be Held From May 17

The Telangana School Education Department today released the schedule for this year's SSC examinations.
Hyderabad | 23rd January 2021
The Telangana School Education Department (TSEC), in the academic calendar it released for 2020-21, today proposed to hold the class 10 SSC public examinations from May 17 to May 26, which would likely be the last day for the current academic year.

The calendar also stated that the summer holidays for this year would be from May 27 to June 13.

The TSEC had earlier said that it would commence classes for the ninth and the tenth standards from February 1, from 9:30 am to 4:45 pm every day.

Chief Secretary of the Education Department Anitha Ramachandran had also made it clear that it was mandatory for the students to attend the on-site classes at their schools from next month.

Following the decision to reopen schools from February 1 after nearly ten months, the concerned officials have been making elaborate preparations for the reopening amidst the ongoing pandemic. The government has also held numerous meetings to review the preparations - Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy has already held three review meetings to oversee the same as well.
