Revanth Reddy To Begin His Padayatra From Feb 6
Called the Haath Se Haath Jodo yatra, the padayatra will begin from the famous Sammakka-Sarakka temple in Medaram of Mulugu district.

TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy will begin his padayatra from today aiming to bring back the Congress to power in Telangana.
Called the Haath Se Haath Jodo yatra, the padayatra will begin from the famous Sammakka-Sarakka temple in Medaram of Mulugu district.
Speaking to media persons, Congress MLA Seethakka revealed the schedule of the initial two days of the yatra. She also said that other party leaders including CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and party MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy would launch similar yatras from different constituencies of the State.
Seethakka said that the AICC had asked the party leaders to hold the padayatras to take the message of the party leader Rahul Gandhi and his recent Bharat Jodo Padayatra to all corners of the State. She said that all the party leaders would take part in the yatras and coordinate with each other for its success. She said that she herself would take part in the padayatra in all seven Assembly constituencies of the Mahabubabad Lok Sabha constituency, and that the padayatra would be held for 10 days in the constituency.
Seethakka also met with Mulugu SP Gouse Alam and urged him to not only provide permission for the yatra but also provide adequate security to the TPCC Chief.
According to the schedule released by Seethakka, Revanth Reddy will reach Medaram village of Tadvai mandal at 11 am on Monday and perform special prayers at the Sammakka and Sarakka temple from 11 am to 12 pm. The padayatra would begin at 1 pm and would reach Project Nagar village of Govindraopeta mandal at 2 pm after covering Kothur, Narlapur and Vengalapur villages of Tadvai mandal.
Reddy would have a lunch break from 2 pm to 2:30 pm on the first day, and resume the padayatra at 2:30 pm and reach Pasra village at 4:30 pm, Seethakka said. There would be a tea break from 4:30 pm to 5 pm. Reddy would then take part in a corner meeting at Pasra Junction from 5 pm to 6 pm. He would later resume his padayatra and cover villages including Govindraopeta, Chalvai, Machapur Jawaharnagar, Janganpally, Icharla and Venkatapur before reaching Palampeta. Reddy would halt for the night at the village on, she said.
