Telangana BJP official spokesperson and media in-charge N V Subhash today said that the governance in the State was being remotely controlled by the Congress High Command, and was resulting in plenty of chaos.
The BJP leader said that Revanth Reddy had been making mistakes from day one in governing an important State due to his inexperience. After a year in office, Reddy's mistakes were gradually coming to light, Subhash said.
"From day one, we have witnessed flip-flops on issues like the Group 1 exam schedule, the drugs case, the hyper HYDRAA project, the Musi riverfront development, and now land acquisition for pharma companies in Vikarabad, where the Collector was almost killed by the public due to poor, knee-jerk decisions and miscommunication by this remote-controlled Congress government. As the saying goes, history repeats itself - we are seeing the same old 'High Command' culture characterising the Congress, with directives from Delhi to implement policies suited to a particular family. Such Rambo-style governance, imposed without consulting the people of Telangana, will not succeed," Subhash said.
"The failures of Revanth Reddy's government are evident across the State, where people feel suffocated and there is a growing anti-establishment sentiment. The guarantees made during the elections are impossible to fulfill, and the public is very upset. And so every day we witness some new drama intended to distract the people from these unkept promises," he added.
