Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today said that the final decision on the Telangana Cabinet expansion, including on whether to drop some members, would be taken by the party high command.
He also said that the composition of the TPCC executive committee was finalized, and that an official announcement could be expected in the next day or two.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi, the Chief Minister spoke also about various other issues.
"The State government is working to find permanent solutions to all issues as effectively as possible. Equitable resource distribution is one such issue. To address that the caste census in Telangana has been conducted comprehensively and transparently," Reddy said.
He also said that cases involving opposition leaders would proceed as per the law and that no individual was being specifically targeted.
Reddy also clarified that he did not require a formal appointment with Rahul Gandhi, as they both shared a close relationship.
