The Telangana government today released Rs. 25 crores towards the completion of the ongoing works at Nagarjuna Sagar in the Nalgonda district, under the special development fund.
The Planning Department, in its GO No 77, said that Rs. 25 crores were released to take up the completion of the remainder of works in the ongoing segments at Nagarjuna Sagar. Works to be taken up with the amount include Rs. 190 lakhs for entrance plaza, Rs. 155 lakhs for Buddha Chitravanam, Rs. 360 crores for Jathaka Park, Rs. 340 lakhs for Dhyanavanam, Rs. 215 lakhs for Stupa Park and Rs. 1,24 crores for Maha Stupa.
