Telangana Police Announce 80% Discount On Traffic Challans

The discounts will be offered from December 26 to January 10.
Hyderabad | 22nd December 2023
There is good news for motorists with pending challans.

The Telangana police today announced huge discounts on pending challans - 80% on challans levied on two- and three-wheelers, and 60% for challans on four-wheelers and heavy vehicles.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy approved the discounts.

The discounts will be offered from December 26 to January 10.

The discounts have been offered in view of the Mega National Lok Adalat on December 30, 2023, to be conducted under the supervision of the Telangana High Court.

People who have pending challans against their vehicles can clear them online with these discounts through the E-challan traffic website from December 26. The police have appealed to the motorists to clear all their pending challans using this offer.

The police had conducted a similar drive in March 2022, giving huge discounts on pending challans. Commuters from Hyderabad/Cyberabad/Rachakonda utilised the discount offer and cleared their pending challans. However, many people from the districts and the rural areas couldn't avail themselves of the facility then due to lack of awareness.
