Telangana, Pearson Partner For AI Skilling
The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding signed at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.

The Government of Telangana, through Aikam, has announced that Pearson, the learning company, would be the State's the first partner to strengthen AI skilling and assessment, and credentialing under the Global AI Academy being developed by Aikam.
The collaboration was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, reflecting a shared vision to build a future-ready AI talent pipeline aligned with global standards and industry needs.
Under the agreement, Pearson and Aikam will collaborate on AI-focused education and skilling initiatives, leveraging Pearson's expertise in learning content, assessments and globally recognised credentials.
"Building AI capability at scale requires strong learning frameworks, trusted assessment and globally portable credentials," said Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana.
Vishaal Gupta, President, Pearson Enterprise Learning Services, said that the partnership would help learners and professionals acquire the skills required to work alongside emerging AI technologies.
Phani Nagarjuna, Founding CEO of Aikam, said that the collaboration would anchor AI skilling in globally trusted frameworks while delivering learning at population scale.
