"Leading global tech firms, including Microsoft, have expressed strong interest in partnering with Telangana on this initiative. We are also set to establish a world-class AI University to nurture top-tier AI talent," he said.
"To expand digital skills training, we will soon also launch a Digital University under the umbrella of the Young India Skills University, offering online learning opportunities to equip youth with future-ready competencies," the minister said.
Babu also said that the State government was working to integrate AI into public service delivery, ensuring that citizen-centric services became more efficient and accessible.
He added that Hyderabad had emerged as a hub for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and that the government was committed to transforming these into Global Value-Added Centres, thereby enhancing their strategic importance and global competitiveness.
