Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday stated that he would visit New Delhi once again on 11 October to meet Congress core committee members Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Defence Minister A K Antony.
Talking to media persons before heading to Hyderabad, the TRS president said that he could not meet Pranab Mukherjee and A K Anthony due to their busy schedule. He said he would meet them on 11 October and brief them about the prevailing situation in the state and the the employees' general strike.
He said that he would appeal to the core committee members to find an early solution to the Telangana issue and to put an end to the uncertainty in the state.
When reporters asked him about Pranab Mukherjee's
latest comments on Telangana, KCR refused to react, saying that he would comment only after "completely studying the statement".
Earlier, talking to a private news channel, Pranab Mukherjee had described Telangana as a complex issue, and said it was difficult to set a time frame for its solution.
Responding to another question, KCR said that he was yet to decide whether to bring members of the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee along with him on his 11 October visit. (INN)
