Two MLAs of YSR Congress party, on Thursday, resigned from their posts demanding that the Centre keep Andhra Pradesh united.
While Ongole MLA Balineni Srinivasa Reddy announced his resignation on Thursday morning; a few hours later, Gurunath Reddy of the Chinnakondur constituency in Anantapur district also resigned from his post.
Accusing the Congress of playing with the sentiments of the people, the YSRCP MLAs said that they were ready to sacrifice anything to prevent the division of Andhra Pradesh. (INN)
