Muslims Government Employees Can Leave Offices Early

The exemption will be in place for the Holy Month of Ramzan.

Following a representation received from the State President, TS MESA, Central Association, the Telangana government has permitted all the Muslim government service / contract / out-sourcing / boards / public sector employees working in the State to leave their offices/schools at 4 pm during the Holy Month of Ramzan - i. e. from March 23 to April 23 (both days inclusive) - to offer prayers, except when their presence is required due to exigencies of services during the period, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari said today.
