Government Permits Muslims To Leave Early During Ramzan

All Muslim employees, including contract and outsourcing employees, of the Telangana government can leave their offices by 4 pm every day during Ramzan.

The state government today issued orders permitting all its Muslim employees to leave their offices early in order to observe their fasts during the holy month of Ramzan.

The Chief Secretary of the state Somesh Kumar issued the orders to this effect.

In his orders, he said that all Muslim employees, including contract and outsourcing employees, of the state government could leave their offices by 4 pm every day during Ramzan.

He said that the orders would be in force from April 3 to May 5.

The CS said that the permission was given as it was necessary for the Muslim employees to perform their rituals during the holy month.
