As the Covid-19 figures in Telangana touch
frightening new highs, daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, MLC K Kavitha, today started special Covid-19 helplines for the people of the state.
Using Twitter to share the numbers of her Hyderabad and Nizamabad offices, with the public, the MLC said that she had decided to start the helpline as she had been receiving innumerable calls from people seeking Covid-19 related assistance. She assured the people that her team would provide round-the-clock assistance to all those requiring help.
Her tweet reads, "Been continuously receiving calls & messages for assistance related to COVID-19. Kindly contact my office Hyd: 040-23599999/08985699999 Nzb: 08462250666 for any #COVID19 related request or query. My team will be available round the clock for your service (sic)."
Some days before Kavitha was
vaccinated against the deadly disease at the NIMS, she was forced to quarantine herself after her husband, Devanapalli Anil Kumar, tested positive for Covid-19.
In a tweet, she had said, "My husband Anil garu has tested positive for #COVID19. He is under home quarantine and is doing well. My family and I have quarantined ourselves and would not be making any public or personal appearances. My office will reschedule all the meetings to avoid inconvenience (sic)."
