Talking to reporters at his residence in Bhopal, Digvijay Singh said that the Telangana issue has been solved, and that the Centre does not expect any trouble from the opposition parties. He said that he hopes that the Telangana bill is passed during the monsoon session of Parliament.
With regard to the demands for the creation of smaller states, including those of Gorkhaland, Bundelkhand and Vidarbha, Digvijay Singh said that such demands should be dealt separately based on the socio-economic and geographical conditions in each state. (INN)
