The government has transferred several senior officials and assigned additional duties to many to strengthen key departments.
The Telangana government has announced a major reshuffle of IPS officers, transferring several senior officials and assigning additional responsibilities to many officials to reportedly strengthen key departments.
Ravi Gupta (1990 batch), Special Chief Secretary in the Home Department, has been appointed Executive Vice-Chairman and Director General for Good Governance.
C V Anand (1991), Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, has been transferred as Special Chief Secretary to the government.
Shikha Goel (1994), Director of the TG Cyber Security Bureau, HFAC and FSL, has been posted as Director General of Vigilance & Enforcement and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to the General Administration Department. She will also hold full additional charge as Director of the TG Cyber Security Bureau until further orders.
Swati Lakra (1995), Additional Director General (ADG) of Police for Organisation and Home Guards, has been given full additional charge as Director General of the Special Protection Force.
Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat (1995), ADG of Police (Law & Order), will also serve as ADG of Police (Personnel).
Charu Sinha (1996), ADG of Police, CID, will additionally function as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
Dr Anil Kumar (1996) has been appointed ADG of Police (Operations) for the Greyhounds and OCTOPUS units.
Vijay Kumar (1997) is the new ADG of Police, Intelligence.
Y Nagi Reddy (1997), formerly Director General of Telangana Disaster Response & Fire Services, has been posted as Managing Director of the TSRTC.
Devendra Singh Chauhan (1997) has been appointed ADG of Police, Multizone II.
Vikram Singh Mann (1998) will serve as Director General of Telangana Disaster Response & Fire Services.
M Stephen Raveendra (1990) has been posted as Commissioner for Civil Supplies and Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to the Government in the CAF&CS Department.
M Srinivasulu (2006), Inspector General of Police, CID, has been transferred as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Hyderabad City.
