AICC general secretary and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Congress affairs Digvijay Singh, on Saturday, once again made it clear that the process of formation of Telangana has been set in motion.
Talking to reporters in Delhi, Digvijay Singh dismissed reports that the Centre has stalled the Telangana formation process.
"The Telangana process has not stopped. The process will continue," he clarified.
When asked about concerns expressed by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy over the division of Andhra Pradesh, Digvijay Singh also said that he would speak to the CM for more clarity.
However, he said that that Kiran Kumar Reddy is a loyal Congress worker and would abide by the decision taken by the Congress Working Committee.
Stating that the committee led by A K Antony would address the concerns of Seemandhra people, he said that the committee would begin deliberations from Tuesday. (INN)
