Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, who attended the AP Congress Coordination Committee meeting held here on Friday, reportedly reiterated his opposition to the bifurcation of the state.
In the meeting, convened by Congress general secretary in charge of AP and chairman of the coordination committee, Digvijay Singh, discussed the strategies for next year's Assembly and Lok Sabha polls, among other things.
While Singh reiterated that the CWC's decision to create Telangana would be carried out at any cost, and with full vigour, the CM is said to have told those at the meet that the people of Seemandhra would not allow the "division of Telugus".
The AP Assembly will not be able to pass a resolution on the matter, he reportedly said.
On Saturday, Kiran Kumar Reddy will lead a delegation of ministers from Seemandhra and Telangana, to a meeting with the Prime Minister.
