Fever Survey: On First Day, 12.6 Lakh People Reached
Of them, about 45,000 people were found with Covid symptoms, and received medical kits from the health staff.

Telangana Health and Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that on the first day of the fever survey being conducted by the health department, 12.6 lakh people across the state were reached.
Of them, about 45,000 people were found with Covid symptoms, and received medical kits from the health staff.
Rao inspected the survey in his Siddipet district and interacted with the people.
The minister later told media persons that the government was conducting the survey to check the spread of the coronavirus.
"We are asking people if they have any of the symptoms of the new variant of the coronavirus including fever, cold and related ailments. And if they do, we are giving medical kits with some tablets to check the symptoms. The kits comprise Azithromycin, paracetamols, Levo Citrizen, Ranitidine (Rantac), Vitamin C and D medicines, and multi-vitamin tablets. Those who take the medicines usually recover within four to five days," he said.
The minister appreciated the health department staff for undertaking the expansive house-to-house survey, and asked the people to cooperate with the staff and participate in the survey.
The state would complete the survey in seven days, he said.
