Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy today said that the government had made all the necessary arrangements to deposit the amounts under the Rythu Bandhu scheme into the bank accounts of the farmers from June 28.
Speaking to media persons, Reddy said that the farmers were now being paid Rs 10,000 per acre through their bank accounts under the scheme, and that the State government had deposited Rs 50,447 crore in all into the accounts of the farmers since the beginning of the scheme.
He added that the government's Market Research & Analysis Wing would give suggestions to the farmers on what kinds of crops needed to be sown in each season.
