Former minister and BJP leader Etala Rajender, who seems to have made a habit of flaying the Telangana government, today targeted the regime again, this time alleging that the ruling party was trying to induce the people of the Huzurabad constituency to support it through "underhand means".
He also alleged that the pink party's leaders were trying to include people from other constituencies in the voter list of Huzurabad in their attempt to "create fake votes" for the upcoming by-election in the constituency.
Rajender added that the leaders were removing all the voters who they felt would not vote in their favour. Further, he warned that the BJP would lodge complaints with State Election Commission against all those officials who were found to be extending support to the TRS' leaders.
The leader then urged the people of Jammikunta to remain alert about fake votes.
In another one of his recent "anti-TRS" rants, some days ago, Rajender had criticised the ruling party for trying to "dupe" the SC community in the state with its
Dalit empowerment program.
"A fresh effort is being made by the TRS government to cheat the SCs of our state once again. The funds meant for the SCs were first diverted by the government due to its lack of commitment to the matter of SC welfare. But, now it is trying to cover its tracks by introducing a special package for the community," he had claimed.
