Telangana EAMCET 2017 Results Out, Boys Steal Show
Of the top 10 ranks in the engineering test, six went to Andhra Pradesh. Telangana secured the top five ranks in the medical, agriculture and pharma test.

Telangana State Council Of Higher Education (TSCHE) Chairman Papi Reddy today declared the results of Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET 2017) on Monday.
The state level admission test was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on May 12.
Boys maintained supremacy in the engineering stream by achieving 74.75 pass percentage, and in the medical, agriculture and pharmacy streams too by achieving 86.49%. Gorantla Jayanth of Guntur topped the engineering stream with 156 marks. Ram Prasad got the second rank with 156 marks, and Sai Yasaswi Bharadwaj stood third with 155 marks.
The results can be checked on the official website eamcet.tsche.ac.in. The rank cards can be downloaded from the site from May 28.
A total of 2,20,251 students applied for admission to various UG programs spanning the engineering, medicine, pharmacy and agriculture streams. While over 1,41,190 students applied for the test for admissions to UG courses in the engineering stream, 1,39,100 actually took the examination. 79,061 students applied for the medical / agriculture / pharmacy stream, and 73,501 of them actually appeared for the test.
