After Telangana Minister Revanth Reddy released the EAPCET 2025 results from his residence in Jubilee Hills today, former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao expressed strong displeasure over the issue.
"Releasing the results of the most prestigious EAPCET, conducted by the Telangana State government, from his Jubilee Hills palace reflects Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's arrogance, and shows his disregard for the administration and the students," Rao said.
He pointed out that in the 77 years of independent India, no Chief Minister or minister had ever released the results of a competitive examination from their home.
He alleged that the Chief Minister continued to operate from the State Command Control Centre or from his Jubilee Hills residence instead of from the Secretariat, and also alleged that he did not allow the police and government officials to function freely.
"The CM completely neglects the Secretariat. Is this what public governance looks like?" Rao asked.
He, however, congratulated the students who secured ranks in the exam.
