Hyderabad | 19th October 2020
The wife of the deceased former Tahsildar Erva Balaraju Nagaraju today approached the Telangana State Human Rights Commission and lodged a complaint against the death of her husband.

The former Keesara Tahsildar who was lodged in the Chanchalguda Central Prison in judicial remand was found hanging from a ventilator inside his jail cell early on October 14.

In her complaint, Swapna alleged that the death of her husband was not a suicide but a murder, and urged the commission to issue orders for a detailed inquiry into the issue.

She said that she suspected that the jail staff were behind her husband's death, and also that some politicians were involved in it.

She also alleged that the ACB of the state had harassed her husband.

She demanded an inquiry by CID into the death.

She also said that she would soon approach the High Court over the issue, and would fight till she got justice.
