Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Wednesday reiterated that "consultations" over the Telangana issue are still on.
Shinde had returned from a 2-day visit to Dhaka on Tuesday evening. He told reporters that an extradition treaty and a revised travel agreement were signed with Bangladesh during his visit.
His statement on Telangana has nothing new on offer, in the wake of Ghulam Nabi Azad's
statement on Sunday, in which the Centre said that it needs more time to resolve the Telangana issue.
On Wednesday, Shinde, when asked whether a fresh deadling has been set for Telangana, said, "Consultation process is still on."
