After chairing the all-party meeting on the issue here today, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that the decision on Telangana will be taken in a month.

"The meeting was very cordial. Everyone has expressed their views and we have noted them. Since the representatives expressed that the decision should be taken as early as possible, the government will take the decision in one month," Shinde told reporters.
Shinde said that he had heard all the views of all political parties carefully, and that he would brief the government on the issue.
Refusing to disclose the details of the views expressed by the parties which took part in the meeting, he said the Centre's decision would be based on their opinions. However, he said several factors including the report of the Srikrishna Commission would be taken into consideration while taking a decision. (INN)
