Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Saturday alleged that people living in the 7 mandals of the Khammam district which were merged with Andhra Pradesh through an ordinance, were facing a lot of problems.
Speaking to media persons, Reddy said that the alleged attack on the Aswaraopet MLA was the fallout of the problems being faced by the people of those 7 mandals.
He appealed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to display his skills by resolving the issue, by involving Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and other stake holders.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the representation made to the 14th Finance Commission by the State government, Reddy said that KCR should have involved all Opposition Parties while making the representation.
He said that joint efforts would have ensured good benefits for the new State. (INN)
