Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded that CM KCR immediately regularise the services of 10,000 Junior Panchayat Secretaries.
Hyderabad | 18th February 2022
Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao immediately regularise the services of some 10,000 Junior Panchayat Secretaries (JPS) who were working in different Gram Panchayats in the state.

In an open letter to the Chief Minister, Kumar also demanded that the state government promise job security to all the JPSs in order to build mental confidence among them.

He told the CM that the JPSs were working hard and playing an important role in the development of the villages. They were performing ten different types of works including in sanitation, Haritha Haram, tax collection and mosquito prevention, and all that while suffering a lot of harassment and insults from different people, including politicians and officials - some of them had even committed suicides unable to bear the harassment of the public representatives and officials, Kumar said.

He asked that the CM immediately absorb them into permanent roles to reward them for their selfless work.
