Nama Welcomes T-Bill Passing

The Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party leader Nama Nageshwar Rao welcomed the passing of the Telangana Bill in the Lok Sabha.

Speaking to media personnel, Nama said that the passing of the bill was a victory for the people of Telangana. He also said that now that the bifurcation has been declared, Telangana and the residual State of Andhra Pradesh should focus on the development of their respective citizens.

He said that the Telangana leaders would be persistent in their efforts to address the concerns of the Seemandhra people. "We are Telugu speaking people and we will develop both the states to be as developed as Singapore," he said. (INN)
