The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013 will be tabled in Lok Sabha on the 13th of February, 2014.
The decision was taken by the Congress Core Committee which met in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Among other important issues, the committee discussed whether the Bill is a money Bill or not and the date of its introduction in Lok Sabha.
Later, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde met Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and informed her about the decision.
Shinde also requested the Speaker to suspend six MPs from Seemandhra region for the ongoing session of the parliament. It may be mentioned that earlier today, the Congress party had expelled six MPs namely Vundavalli Aruna Kumar, Sabbam Hari, Rayapati Samba Siva Rao, Sai Pratap, Harsha Kumar and Lagadapati Rajagopal for going against the party’s stand on Telangana and moving a No-Confidence Motion against the UPA government.
