Asking managements of private colleges to step up and agitate against the Telangana government for the release of fee reimbursement arrears, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President (TPCC) N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that K Chandrashekar Rao became Chief Minister of Telangana State only due to the students who had risen up for the cause of Telangana's Statehood.
Participating in Vidhyarthi Poru Garjana at Taher Garden on Friday, the TPCC chief claimed that the State government's apathy forced the closure of 3,200 colleges.
Reddy demanded that the State government release funds towards fee reimbursement immediately.
