Telangana BJP head Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that the ruling party, the TRS, was targeting the leaders of his party, and was carrying out attacks on them.
Kumar made these remarks while speaking at a public meeting of the party's OBC Morcha, held in Uppal Bhagat.
He asserted that the saffron party would not get scared of the attacks, and said that it would scare Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao instead.
The BJP bigwig also alleged that the CM was harassing the people of the state through his "feudal rule", and claimed that the poor people of the state were looking towards the BJP to bring in an era of real development and welfare to Telangana.
Calling KCR "anti-poor, anti-BC, and anti-EWS", he also questioned the former regarding the alleged delays in the construction of the Atma Gaurava Bhavans, meant to install pride in the traditionally marginalised and disadvantaged communities in the state.
Kumar asked KCR where the funds that had been pumped into the scheme had disappeared.
"The CM has the both the funds and the determination to build his camp office, Pragati Bhavan, and to demolish and redesign the Secretariat, but has no money or resolve to construct the backward castes’ buildings? Where did all the funds for the same go?" he charged.
The saffron party's head then said that a repeat of what had happened at the Dubbaka and GHMC elections would be the best way to teach the state government a lesson.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar has been quite a vocal detractor of the KCR regime. Just days ago, he had
assailed the KCR government for turning "a profit-generating Telangana" into a loss-making one.
